Auto-recharge, if you want it
Optional, and on by default at signup so a busy day never stalls on an empty wallet. When your balance drops below a threshold you set, we add a token amount you choose using the card saved at checkout. Change the numbers or turn it off any time in the Portal.
- Default threshold
- 1,000 tokens
- ($10.00 of balance left)
- Default top-up
- 10,000 tokens
- ($100.00 charged to the saved card)
Every top-up produces a Stripe receipt by email and a line in the Portal's purchase history.
Questions firms ask before signing up
- How do tokens work?
- Your firm has one wallet. You buy tokens at 1¢ each, and every SuitPilot application draws from the same balance. Metered work, such as a redacted page in iRedact or a court filing in eFile, deducts the tokens shown in the rates table; everything else is included at no token charge. Administrators can see usage by product and by user in the Portal.
- Is there a subscription or a per-user fee?
- No. There is no monthly fee and no charge per user. Add as many people as your firm needs; you only pay for tokens.
- Why is a card required at signup?
- Your first token purchase happens at signup, on Stripe's hosted checkout. The card is saved with Stripe so auto-recharge can top the wallet up if you turn it on. SuitPilot never sees or stores card numbers.
- What is auto-recharge?
- Optional. When your balance falls below a threshold you set (1,000 tokens by default), we automatically add a token amount you choose (10,000 by default) using the saved card. You can change the numbers or turn it off at any time in the Portal.
- What happens when the balance reaches zero?
- Metered work pauses until you top up or auto-recharge runs. Nothing is lost: queued jobs wait, and the non-metered applications keep working. Administrators get a low-balance notice before it gets there.
- Do tokens expire?
- No. Tokens stay in your wallet until they are used.
- Do we get receipts?
- Yes. Stripe emails a receipt for every purchase, including auto-recharge top-ups, and purchase history is visible in the Portal.
- Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
- Firms that need invoiced billing, purchase orders or several offices on one agreement should contact us and we'll set that up.
- What does an edge node cost?
- Nothing extra. Provisioning the edge node inside your firm is part of getting started, and there is no charge for the software running on it.
Ready to see it on your own edge node?
Buy a starting token balance, we provision your edge node, your team signs in. Every application included, unlimited users, no subscriptions, and tokens never expire.
